Wonder Woman Gold Slot Review: Display and Bonus

It's good to see one of the more well-known cape crusaders from the 1970s back in town in this 5-reel, 40-pay line game by Bally, especially with the current vogue for superheroes in movies and TV shows. Will Wonder Woman Gold, however, be marvelously good or marvelously bad?

That 70s Show - Display Wonder Woman Gold Slot

The TV character is still quite well-liked despite the fact that the series was concluded about 40 years ago. The disco era's sparkle, elegance, and glamor have been perfectly represented in this game. You will be transported back in time if you were one of the numerous admirers of the program.

It features a screenshot of the attractive Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman, the show's well-known star, on the left-hand side. More people will notice it than the game's name. The background is covered in the stars that are so visible on her clothing, and there are rays from the stars by her name.

Little stars are dispersed across the right part, and the background is purple and orange. Rather differently, the spin button and a bonus-related button are located on the right side of the reels. The three jackpots at the top don't stick out as much as the other vivid colors that are present throughout. Even though they each have a colored star on either side, they aren't in such vivid colors. The Major Jackpot has golden ones, as expected. The Paytable contains diagrams for each winning line.

Play TV

How many other long-running television programs have their own slot machine? And with an actress who is eager to participate in the publicity? Carter appears in the film both as Diana Prince, Wonder Woman's alter ego, and in her superhero costume.

What's nice is that Lyle Waggoner, the other star from the program, who plays Steve Trevor, is on here as one of the reels in addition to the rights for Carter being agreed upon. There are more surprises for those who are familiar with her, like her knee-high boots, belt, and bracelets.

The top prize (for Diana Prince) may only be 600 credits, but you will still see footage from the event with a winning phrase, a "Nice Win," and coins flashing across the screen. The boots sign combines the picture and card symbols, paying 120 credits for five of a type, the same as the Ace. The combined value of the Kings, Queens, and Jacks is 80 credits.

With the setting button, you can only silence the sound; the betting stake possibilities are 1.25, 1.50, 1.75, 2.00, and 2.25.

Starring Bonus

You'll be in paradise with the bonuses if you're a fan of the show because you'll get even more footage from it. When a three-striped Wildcard sign appears on reels 2, 3, or 4, the reel stretches all the way down to an image of the superhero.

You receive 200 credits and enter the bonus zone when you get 3 of the Scatter (Wonder Woman in a strong woman position). You are given a clip from the program, and even more unusually, you get to pick how many free spins you will receive. The Wonder Woman icons take the place of the Ace, King, Queen, and Jack if you choose the 8 Free Spins option.

The special Wonder Woman image replaces the King, Queen, and Jack in 16 free spins, while in 25 free spins, the same symbol takes the place of the Queen and Jack. If you wish, you can also manipulate the scatter by using a special app. Nowadays many players use it, this Pragmatic scatter cheater app can help you manipulate the scatter symbols to your advantage.

The fact that you may actually purchase bonuses is another peculiar facet of the game. This is available even before the game begins, but it's simple to find because the link is located directly above the click button. It's definitely odd. The Paytable does not specify what betting level you would be playing at.

However, there is still a chance to win further rewards. Jackpots can be won by spinning Reels 1 and 5 with a blue, red, or golden star. Red represents Major with 50 credits, blue represents Minor with 5 credits, and gold activates the Mega Jackpot of 500. To add rewards, many players use a cheat engine, especially in slots from Pragmatic Play. Read more here if you're curious about the cheat engine.

Wonder-ful

Although there may not be many high-credit awards available in this game, that is not its focus. Actually, the emphasis is more on enjoyment and a sense of nostalgia.

Those who enjoyed the show will be curious as to why this game took so long to develop, but those who weren't fans will find little to keep them interested (aside from the possibility of paying for bonuses).
